*[[ Merry Christmas ]]*

It's Christmas! 2nd X'mas I spent with my dear.. Anyway, b4 the actual Xmas day, I went for a Xmas pary at Dawn's place.. It was really fun! Thou the rain kinda spoilt the bbq.. so there goes our bbq food.. Hai.. But well, it was fun afterall!





Then X'mas eve, we had a X'mas dinner at Fish and Co with dear and family.. It was already so so so crowded at Tampines Mall. I can't imagine the crowd in town and those idiots going for those count downs.. and those banglahs having a good time groping ard girls.. eeee....





Count down to X'mas was at dear's house, and X'mas day we slept till noon then wake up, and the day we spend slacking at Sun Plaza, drinking coffee, listening to those X'mas songs.. haha..

Mum has got some free tickets for zoo, so I went with my parents, sister and my dear.. As everyone would know, it has been raining so badly for the past few days. Today's weather was no better either, but luckily not those heavy downpours, just short drizzles at most. Yeah..

I'm against shot-gun marriage. I think it's immoral. Let alone flaunting about naming his/her through friendster when rom is only over for less than 2 months. Ya rom is official marriage under the eyes of law but not under the eyes of our culture. Chinese wedding is obviously necessary for moral couples.

In addition, I think it's totally ugly, unsightly and not at all memorable to take wedding shots with a tummy that looks 3, 4 mth pregnant (be it whether is there really a baby inside or not). Oh well, that's what I think. Some other people may think otherwise. May love taking wedding pic with a pregnant tummy and swelled up breasts. I know it's none of my business, but well, it's my blog. I'm free to comment.

Arrghh.. just saw a few ugliest photos I've ever seen. Can show you if you're interested. Can't blog them lah, wait kena sued..

*[[ A Christmas Present ]]*

As my nick says, everyday is Christmas for me with my dear ard. Because almost anything I want to buy, he'll buy for me. So it does not take a Christmas or a Birthday for me to request for a present. Yesterday we went shopping in town and saw sth really interesting and my dear bought it for me and I declare it as my Christmas present for this year..

Here is how it looks like...




Don't know what isst still? It's actually quite small.. this is its size compared to the size of my palm..


Ok it's actually the mechanism thing inside a music box.. this one have to wind myself using the metal arm at the side and it has to be placed on a piece of wood or sth solid for the music to sound good. It came like this lor, like, bare and homeless, so my dear creatively created a metal home for it.. and this is the final present that my dear give me..







Oh btw, there're many tunes to choose.. Many Christmas tunes, but I don't lke Christmas tunes cos X'mas is only once in a year afterall. So I chose 'The music box dancer'. Still got other tunes like Love Story, Entertainer, Swan Lake etc..

Anyway, thanks dear.. it's sth you kinda hand-made for me.. And I like it very much.. Thanks!

Besides this music box, I've really been buying many things the previous week. I bought an adidas jacket, 2 tops for new year, 2 necklaces, 1 skirt, 1 bag.. ya.. and much money on meals when meeting up with frens.. Hai.. ok.. hope school open will keep me from spending so much..

2 more weeks of holiday.. a few more working days, then a vietnam trip, then school reopens, then cny, then HK! =)

*[[ some effort just don't pay off.. ]]*

As mentioned in many other blogs, yeah, some effort just don't pay off. Rem the much hated ethics mod that I always complain about? I admit that I really gave it minimal effort cos I really hated it and cannot click with it. Class participation which accounted for 25% of the total grade was bothering me half the time cos I never spoke a single word in class throughout the whole module. I tot I'll prob do damn badly overall cos I already obviously gave 25% of the grade away. But in the end, I did pretty well, despite the little effort given (I think I only spent 3 days studying for the final paper) and the heck care attitude about class participation and project (we only had 2 meetings).

Then, for those mods that I put in much effort, nah, I didn't get really bad grades, but grades that I feel could have been better. Like Psyc of Indi Diff, I was pretty much interested in the mod and the instructor as well cos he's a very knowledgeable and respectable prof, and I really did try to participate in class as much as I can, and try my best in my term paper and exams as much as I can. But in the end, the grade can't be compared to that of a mod that I simply don't care about.

Cultural Psyc, I think my Prof doesn't quite know the market.. or is it that my class size is too small (only 14 of us). Despite the fact that most of my components are higher than average, my grade is really low. So the distribution seems to be skewed towards the lower end.. Arrghh I duno.. should it be the case? Play us down? Hai.. I don't think I'll take her mods again..

Hai.. I would say that psyc mods are like, demoralising.. the process of learning those stuffs is fun and enriching, but when it comes to exams and release of results, it's like ........

Oh well, so maybe the gist of my blog is, to get good results, don't put in so much effort?

Bored day at home.. but this rainbow brightened up my day.. just by a little..

and as I was admiring the rainbow, happy was at my feet, maybe admiring the rainbow too.. so I took some pics of her too..







oh well, as you can see, she don't really know how to look good in pictures, don't even look at the direction of the camera either, so it's really quite hard to take good pics of her. But nonetheless, I still love her.. muack!

oh.. was out with cartel gang yesterday.. and we took some pics.. yeah very seldom do I get to blog so soon with photos from outings with them, cos the camera freak, kwok, SELDOM send out the photos we took.. so I decided to break this vicious cycle by bringing my own camera..

Anyway, they're all the same few christmas trees outside plaza sing..





ok I admit that I suck at taking photo, esp night portrait.. arrghh..



ok.. our day ended with the promise that we will not go to western restaurants (like cartel) or japanese restaurants (like suki) for our next meeting.. it'll be chong qing huo guo and nothing else.. yeah..
